Welcome to the Engelmann-Family website. In February of Catherine's Senior year of high school she had her tonsils removed. It was not easy and she spent more than four months recuperating. Her best friend Henrietta was causualy dating Carl. They stopped by the house to visit with Catherine. Carl and Catherine married on July 19, 1941 and that is how the story began.
